Easy Chocolate Brownies
Note for tay: figure out the appropriate amount of coffee to add to lift the flavor of the chocolate.

Ingredients
- 200g unsalted butter
- 180g dark cooking chocolate
- 1 cup brown sugar , loosely packed
- 3 eggs , lightly beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- Pinch of salt
Method
Preheat oven to 200°C (180°C fan forced).
Butter a 20cm square baking tin.
Melt butter and chocolate on the stove top over gentle heat. Stir until smooth.
Add sugar and vanilla, mix, then add eggs and mix well until smooth and molten.
Add flour, cocoa and salt and stir until smooth. Pour into pan.
Bake for 32 minutes, check constancy with a skewer.
Cook for a further 8 minutes if skewer comes out dirty. Repeat if necessary.
Rest for 10 minutes before lifting out of the pan. Allow to cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting. Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
